A Note From Amanda
Hi there,
Happy May from Palm Beach County! Whether you’re here year-round, splitting time between two places you love, or just starting to picture yourself waking up to palm trees and ocean breezes — this is the month that shows you exactly why people fall in love with this area. The pace slows down just enough to really enjoy it: morning walks along the Intracoastal, longer sunsets, and SunFest bringing live music to the downtown West Palm Beach waterfront. On the market side, we’re seeing real momentum — mortgage rates have dipped back below 6.5%, and homes in North Palm Beach County are still attracting serious buyers. If you’ve been thinking about making your next chapter a Florida chapter — whether that’s full-time, part-time, or somewhere in between — I’d love to be part of that conversation.
— Amanda

Whether you’re eyeing a waterfront condo or a single-family home in a top school district, I’d love to run a complimentary market analysis for your neighborhood.

Living in Palm Beach County
Our Favorite Things to Do in North Palm Beach County — and Why They’re Perfect for Mother’s Day
One of the best things about living here is that an ordinary weekend already feels special. Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 10th) just gives you a reason to share these favorites with the most important woman in your life.
Waterfront Brunch at Harbourside Place — This is where locals go for a special morning out. The Jupiter Grill hosts a Sunday brunch with Intracoastal views, a carving station, raw bar, and bottomless mimosas. 1000 North, just up the waterway, serves dishes like the smoked salmon Benedict with views of the Jupiter Lighthouse. And for something more laid-back, Guanabanas’ tropical setting with live music and locally sourced seafood feels like vacation any day of the week.
A Morning at Loggerhead Marinelife Center — This Juno Beach gem is one of our area’s treasures — a free-admission sea turtle hospital where you can watch rehabilitation up close. May is also when turtle nesting season begins on our beaches, so you might even catch a guided turtle walk. It’s the kind of experience that reminds you this isn’t just a place to live — it’s a place that takes care of the world around it.
Climb the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse — The 1860 lighthouse is one of the most iconic landmarks in all of Palm Beach County, and the panoramic views from the top — spanning the Intracoastal, the inlet, and the Atlantic — never get old. The museum and grounds make for a wonderful morning with Mom before heading to lunch nearby.
Kayaking, Paddleboarding & Nature — John D. MacArthur Beach State Park on Singer Island is a local favorite for kayaking through mangrove-lined lagoons, snorkeling, and hiking dune trails. Riverbend Park in Jupiter offers paddleboard and kayak rentals along the Loxahatchee River — Florida’s first federally designated Wild and Scenic River.
Juno Beach Cafe’s Free Photo for Mom — Here’s a local insider tip: Juno Beach Cafe offers free professional family photos with your Mother’s Day breakfast between 9 AM and 1 PM. You’ll pick your favorite from an online gallery and get a high-resolution print. It’s the kind of thoughtful, community-driven touch that makes this area feel like home.
These aren’t just Mother’s Day ideas — they’re the everyday lifestyle that comes with living in North Palm Beach County, whether you’re here year-round or seasonally.
Amanda’s Insight
“If you’re relocating to South Florida, May through July is actually one of the smartest windows to buy. Inventory tends to be strong, competition eases up after the spring rush, and you’ll have time to get settled before the school year starts. Plus, you get to experience a Florida summer firsthand before you commit — if you love it in August, you’ll love it year-round.”
